June

Shoes gather by the door,

Discarded,

A limp red leaf,

Pokes out from underneath a leather boot,

And rain drops gather in bunches,

On sneakers,

Soggy from the rain,

Outside the sky bulges,

With fat dark clouds,

And a breeze makes,

The long blades of grass,

Quiver.
